Forest Resource & Allowable Cut - Fairbanks Working Circle (Alaska)

This work was originally published by the State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forest, Land and Water Management in 1980. At that time Daniel H. Wieczorek was working as an Inventory Forester for the Northcentral District Office of the Division of Forest, Land and Water Management of the Alaska State Department of Natural Resources. This title explains how and why the Allowable Annual Cut for the Fairbanks (Alaska) Working Circle was calculated during the winter of 1979 - 1980. All calculations are included. There are many Tables of numbers and several Figures. It must be understood that this is a research document, this book is not something which the general public will want to read for pleasure. This edition has been published primarily for university professors for use as a practical application laboratory text for potential forest managers.

Here is a 38 page SAMPLE (31%) PDF file of this 122 page book (new window). It is 1.08 MB in size. I suggest that you right click on the link and select "Save Link As". Then after it's downloaded to your Hard Drive in a place where you can find it again, open it in Adobe Reader - version 9 or later (very important - it most likely will not open in a version earlier than 9). The best way to use Acrobat Reader to see what it really looks like is to choose "View", "Page Display", "Two-Up Continuous" and also "Show Cover Page During Two-Up" and that way you'll see it exactly as the book will appear in print (odd numbered pages on the right and even numbered pages on the left).
