This work was authored by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge in June 2010. Photos Used on a Website for Meditation (Details & Link in Row Text)

  The portion of the 2 image collage shown below which is above the yellow line was used ON THIS WEB PAGE as an advertisement for a meditation course. We have no idea how long the listed website will be available, and therefore we are including an image of the website so that when/if it disappears that we will still have an archive of it. The person who used it indicated that he wanted to show that sometimes a person's thoughts can be free flowing and at other times they may be like ice. He did not want the distraction of people in the image he used, which is why he cropped out the people.

 Often our thoughts are more fixed and rigid than we think. If we stop grasping pleasurable, and pushing away aversive thoughts, they may flow freely (in equanimity) with delicious benefits. |
