  The first photo is a Pussy Willow at Mitake on the Upper Tama River on March 4th. The 2nd photo is the very first Violet we saw this season - also Mitake. The 3rd photo is a miniature Iris, growing in a pot on our porch - photo March 9th.

  These 3 photos are all on our porch - a Hina Violet (Viola tokubuchiana var. takedana) and 2 pictures of our Cymbidium goeringii (Cymbidium Orchid) as the flower bud is expanding.
