This is Page 1 of 1 - Photos From Our Annual Newsletter Plus the Best of December 2022!
posted: December 28th, 2022

This page shows those photos which are included in our Annual Newsletter for 2022 plus a few of our best December 2022 photos which were not included in the Newsletter.  Newsletter photos are shown in Rows 1 - 8 and the other best photos from December are included in Rows 9 and 10.  Click on any thumbnail to begin.

What is the difference between these pages and the actual Annual Newsletter?   These pages show only the photos from the Annual Newsletter and VERY brief photo descriptions.   The Annual Newsletter tells the actual stories behind the photos and more details about the where and why. The primary reason for these pages is to allow people to see larger versions of the Annual Newsletter photos. The Annual Newsletter is 5 pages in length this year, but it is only 2 pages of text.

The three photos in this row are all found on Page 1 of the Annual Newsletter. There is a link to the Annual Newsletter down at the bottom of the page if you would like to read it.

The first shot in this row shows what the original photo from Row 7 (Center) looked similar to before processing it as an HDR (High Dynamic Range) image. The second shot was taken from our driveway - snow is getting a little deep.

The first image in this row is the same as the second image in Row 9, but it has been "photoshopped" and a Diffuse Glow has been added. The second and third shots show that the snow is now getting deeper than it was in the previous two photos.

Kazuya was tapped to make a wedding cake or cakes for a local friend's wedding. These three photos show what he created at the actual venue. Notice that the rear one has a mirror glaze, which was just amazingly shiny - actually a mirror! And, the insides - sorry there are no photos that show the layers. Is it necessary to say that people were absolutely amazed? In addition, it was all eaten up on the day of the wedding.

Kazuya created a collage of me with photos that he took during the year. Thank you, Kazuya. He also created a collage of some of his various baked goods that he made during the year. Maybe I should do a book of just baked goods photos, what do you think?
