Begin May 25 |
Now it's May 25th and we are happy to see that though it rained off and on all night, we are now having some sunny weather. The first shot was taken right at Eagle Summit Wayside. The second and third shots show Kazuya and a deep snow drift along the highway at Eagle Summit. |

Here is a shot of me at the deep snow drift. The second shot is a scenic shot taken from the Blue Anemone place that is close to Eagle Summit, and the third shot is zoomed in to the lower right hand quadrant of the previous photo. |

The first shot here shows one of the taller peaks of the Eastern end of the Alaska Range. That means that the visibility here is more than 150 miles. The second and third shots are some sunny shots of the Alaska Blue Anemone (Anemone multiceps). |

The three photos here are all the same photo, but the second and third ones have been converted to HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos. It amazes me what can be done. |

The date is May 27th, 2023, it's Kazuya's 44th birthday today. One of the several things we did was to go to the University of Alaska, Fairbanks - West Ridge in search of the beautiful Calypso Orchid (Calypso bulbosa var. americana). As you can see, we found them. |
