This page shows photos which are included in our Annual Newsletter for 2020 plus a few of our best December 2020 photos which were not included in the Newsletter.   On this page is the final image from July on Page 12 and then the photos/images from August, September, October, November, and December. The photos/images on this page are those from pages 12 - 19 of the Annual Newsletter.  Click on any thumbnail to begin.

What is the difference between these pages and the actual Annual Newsletter?   These pages show only the photos from the Annual Newsletter and VERY brief photo descriptions.   The Annual Newsletter tells the actual stories behind the photos and more details about the where and why. The primary reason for these pages is to allow people to see larger versions of the Annual Newsletter photos. The Annual Newsletter is 19 pages in length this year.

End Annual Newsletter Photos, Begin Other December's Best |
Photos from this point forward were not included in the Annual Newsletter, but are still some of the best which were taken during December. The first photo shows the house with the Christmas Lights on the porch (study carefully!). The second shot shows the pan of the Bear Trap which was shown above in Rows 10 and 11. The pan says: S. Newhouse Oneida Community N.Y PAT. Sept 26-1911 No. 5. |

On Christmas Day we drove out the Chena Hot Springs Road all the way to the end at Chena Hot Springs. We were in search of Caribou and/or Moose to photograph. We only spotted squirrels and Caribou/Moose tracks, no animals. These two shots show Angel Rocks. |

Here is one more shot from our drive out the Chena Hot Springs Road on Christmas Day. The second shot shows an empty paper towel roll wrapped with duct tape and then smeared with peanut butter. Then I sprinkled sunflower seeds all over it, stuck some skewer sticks through it, put a wire on it and hung it. In our climate the peanut butter quickly froze solid, so the Black-capped Chickadees have to really fight to get the sunflower seeds out, and they also sit there and chip away at the peanut butter. In other words - they love it.
