This is Page 2 of 2 - Photos from our Annual Newsletter and the best of December 2021!
posted: January 7th, 2022
Go To Page:

This page shows photos which are included in our Annual Newsletter for 2021 plus thirteen of our best December 2021 photos which were not included in the Newsletter.  On this page you will see the final three images from October, on Page 9 of the Annual Newsletter and then the photos/images from November, and December. The photos/images on this page are those from pages 9 - 11 of the Annual Newsletter. Click on any thumbnail to begin.

What is the difference between these pages and the actual Annual Newsletter?   These pages show only the photos from the Annual Newsletter and VERY brief photo descriptions.   The Annual Newsletter tells the actual stories behind the photos and more details about the where and why. The primary reason for these pages is to allow people to see larger versions of the Annual Newsletter photos. The Annual Newsletter is 11 pages in length this year.  There is a link from which you can download the Annual Newsletter at the bottom of this page.

The first photo in this row shows Light Pillars from both the sun and also a sun dog on December 14. The second and third photos were taken during the first of several very bad storms we had between December 19th and December 29th. On this date (January 6) we are still doing snow work from that series of storms.

Due to the Coronavirus and COVID-19 we stayed home for Christmas Day. We bought some Ahi Tuna for our Christmas Dinner and Kazuya made Tuna Medallions for us for our enjoyment. It was very non-traditional, but we felt very fortunate to be able to have such an amazing Christmas Dinner. The center photo shows some of the flower arrangements which Kazuya had around our house for the holidays. The third shot shows our woodshed after the series of storms which left our area buried under several inches of snow and over 1 inch of frozen rain.

The first photo here shows Kazuya standing on the path to our storage shed after we used our Honda HSS928AATD snowblower to open a path to it. We failed to get out our snowshoes before the storms. The path made it possible for us to get them. The center shot was taken at the top of our driveway looking down the road. Our neighbor is shown clearing his driveway with his machine. The third photo shows our driveway after we used Joe Blow, the snowblower, to get it opened up. I was on my knees to take this photo.

The first photo in this row shows me clearing the snow from our roof and the second photo shows the roof after it was one-third cleared. We finished this chore yesterday, December 5th. We still need to clear the storage shed and woodshed roofs.
